After a hard loss to #1 ranked TCU on Friday night, the #2 ranked LSU Tigers were able to turn things around on Saturday, and hand Baylor their first loss of the year. Which set up a chance for the Tigers to leave Houston with a winning record in the Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic at Minute Maid Park, if they could get by the 10th ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders.

Yesterday's game against the Red Raiders was a mixed bag, only one Tiger had more than a single hit (Antoine Duplantis), but Freshman starting pitcher Eric Walker fired six innings giving up only 1 run, then the bullpen fell apart again.

The Tigers rallied back in the top of the 9th to tie the game, before ultimately giving up the winning run in the bottom of the 9th.

Final score against Texas Tech was 5-4.

The Tigers left Houston 1-2 in the Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic, and are now 9-3 on the season.

They look to get back to their wining ways on Tuesday when they host San Diego. Pre-game is 6pm, and can be heard across Shreveport and Bossier on 1130AM, with 1130 The Tiger.
