In Roy Oswalt's debut with his new team...he didn't do so bad. The longtime Astros' great, who in most recent years pitched for the Philadelphia Phillies, was signed on by the Rangers as a free agent to give their pitching staff a safety net.

The Rangers offense came alive early in this ballgame against the Colorado Rockies! Adrian Beltre with Josh Hamilton on base, belts a longball to deep right, to make the score 2-0 in the bottom of the 1st inning.

By the bottom of the 4th inning, with the score still 2-0, Nelson Cruz doubled to center field, scoring Adrian Beltre, making the score 3-0. Mike Napoli looked at the scoreboard, and wasn't satisfied with the score, and wanted to do something about it. What did he do?! He hit a bomb to right field to make the score 4-0 nothing over the Rockies.

By then, Roy Oswalt was dealing, but it wasn't pretty. In his first start he allowed 9 hits, but have you ever impressed the future love of your life on your first date?! Didn't think so.

Regardless, Oswalt gets his first victory of his young season (1-0, 1.35 ERA) and looks to improve in his second start.

The Rockies and Rangers do it all over again tomorrow afternoon at 2:05!
