After getting a close victory inside Seattle's Safeco Field, and a blowout loss on Saturday, the Rangers were looking to make their grueling West Coast road trip much happier.

Behind Scott Feldman, the Rangers got what they wanted.

July has not been kind to the Texas Rangers, so far they are 4-6 in the month. Ron Washington and company want to change that, so he turns to his best pitcher on his staff.

It was a decision Washington didn't regret. In his complete game effort, Scott Feldman struck out 3 and only allowed 5 hits. The biggest stat of all, the fact he allowed no runs!

The offense was able to support Feldman's effort: to start the game Josh Hamilton grounded out to send Ian Kinsler home, making the score 1-0 early.

Two innings later in the top of the 3rd, Adrian Beltre sends home center fielder Craig Gentry, and Elvis Andrus via a single to left. That made the contest 3-0!

To show off his bat, Ian Kinsler hits a bomb to left on the very first pitch he saw! Making the score 4-0!

The Rangers would go onto be the Mariners by that score of 4-0.

Before heading to Oakland on Tuesday to play a three game set with the Athletics, the Rangers get a day off.

Tune in Tuesday night at 9 to see if they can beat up on the A's!
