Randy Travis Arrested For Being Drunk In Public

Randy Travis was having his own Super Bowl party yesterday. He kept it going until the wee hours of the morning too.

Randy got arrested at 1:30 a.m. Monday morning in Sanger, Texas.

Somebody called the Sanger Police and reported a suspicious vehicle, the cops went to investigate and found im with a open bottle of wine in front of a Sanger Baptist Church. He owns a ranch home in the nearby town of Tioga, Texas.

Randy stayed in jail just a few hours, after he sobered up they let him go but charged him with a Class C misdemeanor for his conduct.

This month, the seven-time Grammy Award winner will embark on his 25th Anniversary Celebration Tour. Twenty-five years of making hits, I'll drink to that!

Randy Travis has offered his sincerest apologies for drinking and getting arrested.

"I apologize for what resulted following an evening of celebrating the Super Bowl," Travis said in a statement provided to TheWrap. "I'm committed to being responsible and accountable, and apologize for my actions."
