The New Orleans Breakers of the United States Football League (USFL) will be opening its 2022 season this Sunday in Birmingham, Alabama.

The Breakers will be playing the Philadelphia Stars at 3:00 pm at Protective Stadium. The game will be aired on the USA Network.

And as we prepare for the new season's arrival, we can finally rest in knowing what the mascot looks like. We don't what it is, but we got the visual.

A breaker has to do with waves or something or other. You know, like all the ferocious waves that come off of Lake Ponchatrain.

Now, we'll admit, this dude mascot is kind of cool. But what in the world is it?

Perhaps a mix of Johnny Bravo from Cartoon Network and Gellert Grindelwald from the Harry Potter universe (played by Johnny Depp)?

Whatever it is, the Breakers want you to help them give this fella a name. We're sure it will be something riveting.

Oh, back to the actual football games. If you want to check out the New Orleans Breakers in person this season, you'll have to travel to Birmingham. All 10 of their games will be played there.
