Neal McCoy is recording a new album with Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert producing. Our good friend from Longview, Texas is already working on the video for the first single called, 'A-OK.'

Neal was home for the holidays and decided to shoot the video there, using several local residents to star in the clip.

"I've been on the road a bunch this year, just like every year," he explains to KYTX-TV in Tyler, Texas. "We run a lot. Instead of taking more time away from my family, I said it'd be great if we could shoot this thing in Longview."

Neal says he has always known how to pick a hit.

"Everybody wants to find that song that hits the sweet spot, which is pretty much them, but everybody else, too," he explains to CMT. "I think I finally found that song! I think any song that says, 'It's gonna be OK, it's gonna be all right', has got to be a winner. People really want to hear, and almost need to hear, that right now. Times being the way they are, and something that makes people feel good? Well, anyone who knows me knows I'm all about that."

'A-OK' is the debut single from Neal's upcoming album, 'XII' on Blaster Records, and should be in stores in 2012. Neal will begin his 2012 tour performing a series of shows in Canada.
