My Hero Academia’s Mirio Coming To CyPhaCon In Lake Charles
The Shreveport and Bossier geek community has been celebrating geek culture for a long time. With the centerpiece of the geek community becoming Geek'd Con, Shreveport's comic con, every August at the Shreveport Convention Center. But if you want to get geeky before August, you don't have to wait too long.
This April, CyPhaCon is returning to the Lake Charles Civic Center. It's a 3-day event, that is a combination of Anime, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and gaming. This year's CyPhaCon is set for April 1st-3rd. The event has been running since 2011, and in the past has featured celebrity guests like Julian Glover, Sonny Strait, Chuck Huber, Tony Amendola, Monica Rial, Robert Axelrod, and many more.
CyPhaCon has been forced to delay their 10th anniversary since 2020, and will be going big to celebrate it this year.
In addition to SFX superstar Doug Jones, and Sci-Fi fan favorite Tim Russ, CyPhaCon is going hard with anime guests as well.
Ricco Fajardo will be joining the show this year. He's best known as the voice of Mirio Togata in My Hero Academia. But his resume goes further than that. He has also voiced Taiju Oki in Dr. Stone, Itona Horibe in Assassination Classroom, Kotaro Tatsumi in Zombie Land Saga, Daryun in The Heroic Legend of Arslan, Tor Kokonoe in Absolute Duo, Leon Luis in Garo: The Animation, Kyousuke Munakata in Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak Academy, and Haruhiro in Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash.
