MMA Fighter Breaks Out of Jail in Texas
Authorities in Texas say a Mixed Martial Arts fighter has escaped police custody.
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office says 44-year-old Cedric “SpiderMan” Marks escaped custody early this morning. Marks was last seen in his orange jumpsuit during a private prisoner transport in Conroe, Texas.
According to online MMA databases, Marks has a career record of 31-27 across multiple promotions, including Bellator, Shamrock FC, and Xtreme Fighting Championships. His record includes 3 wins, including knockouts, in less than 15 seconds. Marks is 3-7 over his last ten matches, including a 6 match losing streak.
Marks was taken into custody in early January in Kent County Michigan on a burglary warrant, but now faces multiple murder charges. At the time of his escape, Marks was facing three murder charges. Marks is accused in the death of his former girlfriend Jenna Scott, and two of her friends.
Authorities are warning that Marks is extremely dangerous, and if you see him, notify authorities right away.
