The New Orleans Saints made an incredibly bold move this week in the First Round of the NFL Draft. They decided they needed to move from #27 in the draft all the way up to the #14 spot to take a player out of a college you may have never heard of.

The team's bold move was to get Marcus Davenport from the University of Texas at San Antonio...

He had impressive numbers in college, and at the NFL Draft Combine in February. But some feel the Saints reached...not on the player, but on the trade to get him. The team surrendered next year's First Round pick for Davenport, making him worth TWO First Round draft picks. It's not that people don't like the player, they don't like the price.

But who is the player? There's plenty out there to be found on Davenport. After all, Davenport was the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year last year, and finished his career at the University of Texas at San Antonio with 22 sacks. So he was on the radar of many teams...
