We're still not sure exactly what we'll see from Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' panel at the upcoming Comic-Con 2013 panel, but if the latest promo introducing Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton) is any indication, we're in for some new footage and a much more in-depth introduction to the new characters. Are you ready to meet one of the major leaders of ABC's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.?'

Not only does the new footage offer more of our beloved and dearly-returned Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) cracking wise, but it also goes in depth with Brett Dalton to paint Agent Ward as an operative skilled in black ops, however lacking in people skills. And don't think we're ignoring the continually familiar-sounding voice kept in shadow at the other end of Ward's S.H.I.E.L.D. interview!

While we wait for next week's Comic-Con panel, Marvel’s ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ features a cast that includes Clark Gregg’s resurrected Agent Phil Coulson, as well as Whedon vet J. August Richards, ‘ER’ doc Ming-Na as veteran agent Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as hacker Skye and Elizabeth Henstridge and Iain De Caestecker as science team Gemma Simmons and Leo Fitz. Nick Fury himself, Samuel L. Jacksonpreviously stated that he expected to be involved in some small capacity, while ‘How I Met Your Mother‘ and ‘The Avengers‘ star Cobie Smulders remains open to the possibility. Heck, even Sam Rockwell is game to reprise his 'Iron Man' role of Justin Hammer!

You can bet your 'Captain America' trading cards we'll be on hand in San Diego next week for the 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' panel, but in the meantime, check out the featurette above, and stay tuned for the latest in a series of previews for Joss Whedon's new Marvel/ABC series!
