Every Marvel TV Superhero, Ranked
The premiere of FOX’s The Gifted opened up an entire new realm of mutant heroes on TV, on top of the already-crowded MCU landscape of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Inhumans, and the four Defenders, plus fellow mutant offshoot Legion. And what must be done when TV has spent a decade introducing live-action versions of our favorite heroes? They must be ranked, dear reader.
Below you’ll find our complete, ironclad ranking of Marvel’s current crop of TV heroes (read: No characters that haven’t formally premiered, nor classics like The Incredible Hulk), covering everything from their long-scale contributions to respective universes, powers, depth of portrayal, or whether or not one of them is a dog (SPOILER alert: One of them is a dog). You don’t have to wear a costume or leap from rooftops to qualify, but one does generally have to fight alongside the angels (or demons, as it were).
Behold, the complete list, before it is completely upended by the arrival of Marvel’s Runaways, Cloak and Dagger, New Warriors, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 5, and more. At that time, I will reassess, using further infallible science.
