On Friday afternoon, sophomore Texas Tech basketball player Malik Ondigo announced on his Twitter that he would be entering the transfer portal to explore all of his options.

Ondigo appeared in 18 games for the Red Raiders this past season, averaging 1.3 points a game along with 1.2 boards.

It is important to note that at the end of Ondigo's post he did not rule out the possibility of returning to Texas Tech.

If Malik ends up at a school other than Tech, he will bring a great presence on the offensive as well as defensive side of the ball. However, if he does end up returning to Texas Tech, it's another great piece of depth for Chris Beard to work with for next season.
