LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers was booked Monday night in the Orleans Parish jail in New Orleans on a weapons charge, WAFB reported on Tuesday.

According to reports from the NOPD, Nabers was arrested at the intersection of Bourbon and Conti Streets and charged with illegal carrying of a weapon. The incident occurred at about 7:30 p.m.

The 20 year old Nabers played high school football in Lafayette, Louisiana. As a freshman at LSU in 2021, he had 28 receptions for 417 yards and four touchdowns.
