LSU Tiger Baseball Wins the Series Over Miss State [Video]

The LSU Tigers won two really close games in this weekend's series against Mississippi State in Baton Rouge at Alex Box Stadium. They took the first two but lost the third last night. The Tigers rallied Friday night to win 3-2.

The Tigers escaped a bases-loaded ninth inning to beat Mississippi State Saturday 4-3. But last night's game was a different story.

I'm wondering if a different LSU Tigers team showed up because the Tigers couldn't do anything against the Bulldogs last night, losing 7-1. Still, they grabbed the series, 2 games to 1.

The Tigers notched 10 hits, but only got on the board once in the sixth inning. LSU catcher Ty Ross hit an RBI grounder to third base to score second baseman JaCoby Jones, who had plated a single to center field earlier.
