For the third year in a row, LSU track star Kimberlyn Duncan has been named a semi-finalist for the Bowerman Award, the nation’s top award for collegiate track and field athletes.

Duncan is the reigning Bowerman Award winner and a front-runner to win it again.

Just a few days ago, Duncan won the Honda Sports Award for the second year in a row.. given to the nation’s top female track and field athlete.

Duncan has had a sensation 2013 season in which she became the first collegiate athlete, male or female, to win the 200 meter dash championship in both indoor and outdoor competition for three consecutive years.
