The Pilots' Brandon Davis and Mark Politte helped the LSU-S get on a roll, with both getting double-doubles in the contest.

Davis helped the Pilots on the scoreboard netting in 30 points, which is one point shy of his season high of 31 points. Politte added 18 points in last night's game.

The Pilots' leading scorer Rodney Milum was under the weather, but made everyone on the Pilots bench feel good with his 22 points on the night.

On the other side of the court, the offense was just as plentiful for the Mustangs as they had three players finish with 20+ points on the night.

The 'Stangs Michael Russell finished with 23 points on the night, Johnathan Williams tossed in 22 points, while Curtis Thompson, Jr. added 21 points.

The offense on both sides was so explosive, both teams could not finish this game in one overtime period, but two overtimes.

In the second overtime period, the Pilots outscored the Mustangs 12-7 where they would eventually win 116-111.

For the Pilots, this is their fourth consecutive victory and their eighth out of their last nine. They advance to 11-3 overall and 7-2 in the RRAC. LSU-S moves into a tie, with the victory, with Texas College for second place in the conference.

Next up for the Pilots, they will head to Fort Worth, Texas on Monday night to square off against the Texas Wesleyan Rams. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
