[UPDATE] LSU Forward Plays Big for Team USA in Russia

LSU forward Theresa Plaisance continues to play well for Team USA at the World University Games in Russia. USA topped Brazil 105-75 on Wednesday to stay unbeaten in preliminary action and advance to the quarterfinals.

Plaisance has started all three games, she had a game high seven rebounds against Brazil. USA will play Sweden on Friday.

(Filed 7/10/13) LSU Senior Forward Theresa Plaisance is in Russia representing USA Basketball in the World University Games. Team USA has won it’s first two games in an effort to win a fifth straight WUG gold medal.

Team USA won on Monday over Mali, 120-32. Plaisance had a game high 11 rebounds.

USA won again on Tuesday 101-61 over Czech Republic. Plaisance had four points, three boards, and two steals.
