The LSU football program is putting together some incredible recruiting classes for the next few years.

Right now, 24-7 Sports says LSU has the nation's 8th best recruiting class for 2019, and the nation's 4th best class for 2020.

The 2019 class is led by two five-star recruits from Baton Rouge, Derek Stingley and Kardell Thomas. Stingley is considered by 24-7 Sports to be one of the 10 most complete recruits LSU has ever landed.

This week, for the 2020 class, LSU has received a verbal commitment from a four-star offensive lineman prospect from Texas. His name is Courtland Ford from Cedar Hill high in Texas. He’s six-foot-six, 305 pounds and 24-7 sports rates him as the 23rd best offensive tackle in the Class of 2020.

Ford is the 6th four-star recruit LSU has landed for 2020, and the first recruit from Texas to commit for that class.

According to 24-7 Sports, LSU has another major target in Texas for 2020, five-star recruit Zachary Evans from Houston. Evans is a 200+ pound running back, and is the #2 rated running back recruit in the nation.
