Jack Bech just made a major announcement regarding his future in college football.

The LSU WR and former St. Thomas More standout took to his social media on Tuesday (Dec. 6) to announce "new beginnings" were on the horizon.

Bech, a four-star recruit back in 2021, just wrapped his second season with LSU but has made the decision to enter the transfer portal as he feels that his "opportunity to grow as a player is elsewhere."

In a message to LSU and their fans, Bech was thankful for the chance to play for a team he has loved ever since he was "old enough to hold a football," calling it the "hardest decision of his life."

After a solid freshman year with the Tigers, notching 43 grabs for nearly 500 yards and three touchdowns, Bech was only able to haul in 16 catches for 200 yards and one score in a sophomore season that saw him missing part of the year due to injury.

We will update you when we hear any news on where Bech may land or if any new information becomes available.

Best of luck to a hometown star as we wish him the best and hope he lands on his feet.
