Last week, LSU Basketball added their first recruit under new coach Will Wade, and it was a good one. But at the same time, they were losing their leading scorer to the NBA. So the team needed to find some veteran leadership to fill that gap.

They did just that this week.

New Coach Will Wade found some veteran leadership at the Junior College level, as he signed on Daryl Edwards. You can read more about Edwards here, in a report from the Louisiana Radio Network:

"Junior college combo guard Daryl Edwards has signed a national letter of intent with LSU. He shot 47-percent from three at Northwest Florida State College a year ago and averaged nearly 14 points a game. Edwards chose the Tigers over Iowa State, Utah and UNLV."
