LSU Baseball Storms Back Against Tulane
LSU Baseball fell behind 4-0 to Tulane, but scored the next ten runs to beat the Green Wave 10-4.
Sophomore center fielder Zach Watson was 3-for-3 with 3 RBIs as he continues to swing a hot bat. Watson has three straight three-hit games and it was his fifth straight multi-hit game.
LSU’s bullpen was very good again as the last 15 Tulane batters went down in order.
This was a big win for the Tigers as they get ready to head off for this first big road trip of the season. This weekend they will be on their way to Tennessee to take on Vanderbilt, a team featuring at Top 5 ranking.
As the SEC season gets rolling, this young Tigers team is doing better than some thought they'd be doing at this point. But with a three-game set against Vanderbilt on-deck, this team will have to sink or swim quick.
