LSU Baseball Lands High On Another Pre-Season Poll

Expectations will be sky-high for LSU baseball this season. Maybe higher than normal, which is saying a lot for a school with as much baseball pedigree as LSU has.

But let's add another log to the roaring expectation fire, according to the Louisiana Radio Network:

"The LSU baseball team is No. 3 in the 2017 USA Today preseason coaches poll released Thursday, marking the Tigers’ fifth Top 5 preseason ranking."

Five Top 5 rankings in the pre-season for LSU baseball means that anything short of a trip to Omaha could be considered a lost season.
