Louisiana Tech Unveils New Helmet Design!

Louisiana Tech has a new head coach for the upcoming season, and now they have a new helmet. The University unveiled it’s new helmet design on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs will still wear their traditional red helmets, with a change to the logo… the “T” on the side of the helmet will now be red instead of white.

According to LATechSports.com, "The change to the helmet decal was made to provide a more consistent brand image being shown to fans, alumni and national television audiences."

Tech also showed off a special stars and stripes design to the helmet that they will wear specifically for the Heart of Dallas Classic game against Army on September 28th at the Cotton Bowl.

The 2013 season will be Tech's first under new head coach Skip Holtz, it will also be the shool's inaugural season as a member of Conference USA.
