And one other nugget you'll want to know if you've received a notice that your Louisiana Boat Registration is due. There was a bit of an error in printing. Many of you have contacted LDWF saying you were unable to locate the renewal fee for your watercraft.

This letter from Governor Edwards and Secretary Montoucet should clear those questions up. Just in case you can't click the link the renewal fee is the number that is printed right below the expiration date on your boat's renewal notice.

LDWF wants you to know that if you did receive a renewal notice with the printing error as described above, you can still renew your boat's registration by mail. The bottom line is you need to get the boat registered and you can't use this as an excuse.

And if you don't find yourself in a deer stand or in the woods this fall, you'll probably wish you would find yourself here, at one of these, if we only had them.
