Those who live in Temple, Texas have great pride for the city.

Make no mistake, there are a lot of cities in the Lone Star State. So, there's bound be a town in Texas that someone doesn't know that it exists. But when that city begins to grow in size and population, residents in the state will take notice.

Temple, throughout the years, has seen continuous growth. With a mixture of old and new businesses, many have found their way to the city. This includes media personalities as well.

One personality on YouTube, The Daytripper, decided to make his way to Temple to learn more about the history of the city, and what is in its future.

The Daytripper Comes To Temple, Texas And Films His Time Here

The video, which can be seen here, shows The Daytripper visiting various place and eateries while he's in town:

First, The Daytripper makes his way to Kolache Kitchen. He even learns how to make Kolaches and Klobásníkies! We also learn that Temple used to be called "Mud Town," which is interesting, as well as discovering more about how trains helped put the city on the map.

They even visit everybody's favorite ,Old Jody's. Following another meal, The Daytripper makes his way through trails and Miller Springs Park, even partaking in some shooting sports.

Finally, to close out the day, of course, more food! They visit Treno's to chow down on some pizza and wind down after the long day. All in all, the video was a great example to show people what the city offers.

Now, here's to hoping more people visit our town!
