A scary scene unfolded in Arlington, Texas when crews opened the roof of AT&T Stadium before the Dallas Cowboys game on Monday night.

With gorgeous weather in the area, the Dallas Cowboys front office elected to open the roof for the first time in two years, and as the roof was opening, a piece of sheet metal fell on the field below.

Luckily no one was injured in this mishap, but it did force crew to close the roof before pregame warmups.

The 2024 year has been a disaster for the Dallas Cowboys and this is just the latest part of the nightmare of a season.

Take a look at the piece of sheet metal that fell from the roof on Monday afternoon.

Another photo on social media shows what appears to be another piece of sheet metal in the rafters of "Jerry World."

Here's the roof opening before Monday Night Football on ESPN, but has since been closed after the bizarre incident in the stadium.
