Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry had plenty to say after LSU's loss to Alabama in Tiger Stadium last Saturday night, and much of it centered around the controversial Tiger that was on the sideline.

By now you heard that Landry lobbied with LSU to have a live Tiger on the sideline for pre-game festivities, and when LSU elected to not have its on-campus mascot on the sideline, Gov. Landry had a Tiger from Florida transported to Louisiana for the game.

The live Tiger's presence stirred up protests by some on campus on game day, while others signed petitions to keep the Tiger off the field, none of which were successful.

While standing before a group of people, Landry said that it was only his "Tiger" that showed up for the game last Saturday night in Baton Rouge. In his remarks, Landry was hinting that no 'Tiger" on LSU's teams or coaching staff showed as LSU was blown out by Alabama on ABC Sports.

Gov. Landry said that they did all they could to get the team and coaches fired up before the game, including arranging a flyover before kick-off.

As you may expect, some chuckled as Landry made the joke, while others on social media didn't appreciate the jab towards the LSU Football program.

Here's Gov. Landry defending the Tiger he had imported to LSU, while also being critical of the play from LSU last Saturday night.

Take a look at what some are saying about Gov. Landry on social media after he made the above remarks about LSU Football.
