Louisiana's own Boosie BadAzz is facing an unusual predicament that has him reaching out to his fans and the public at large. It seems as if the "Wipe Me Down" rapper has lost the charger to his ankle monitor and is offering a $5,000 reward for its return.

The Baton Rouge native took to social media with a plea that has since captured the attention of his 1.2 million followers. On a flight from Atlanta to Los Angeles, aboard Delta Flight 0501, Boosie realized the charger had slipped off. Boosie's main concern was that without the charger, he faced potential legal troubles.

Boosie's tweet outlined the urgency of the situation, "I WAS ON DELTA FLIGHT 0501 SEAT 8C COMING FROM ATLANTA TO LA N MY ANKLE MONITOR CHARGER SLIPPED OFF MY LEG. It’s EITHER N ATLANTA AIRPORT R LAX CAN U PLEASE BRING IT BACK TO ME 5K CASH Reward im not trying to get n trouble smh SEND YOUR CONTACT N PICS OF THE CHARGER TO MY EMAIL Boosiebadazzbookings225@gmail.com."

Boosie, whose legal name is Torrence Hatch Jr., is currently under a court mandate to wear an ankle monitor following an arrest back in June on federal charges for being a felon in possession of a firearm. The charges stemmed from an incident where police alleged to have spotted a gun in the rapper's possession during an Instagram Live session. Despite a motion to drop the charges, the court denied it, and Boosie is preparing to take his case to trial.

The requirement to wear an ankle monitor is a serious one, and losing the charger could potentially complicate his legal situation. Depending on how long the monitor holds a charge, it's a race against time. Boosie is aware of the stakes at hand and hopes that his community might come through for him in this time of need.

At the time of this post, the charger's whereabouts remain a mystery, and the clock is ticking. The rapper and his team are still awaiting any information that might lead to the charger and, hopefully, prevent any further legal entanglements for the Louisiana artist.
