The LSU Women's Basketball team's historic achievement of winning their first National Championship continues to be a cause for celebration in the Tiger community. Though more than six months have passed since their victory, the festivities are far from over.

In an exciting announcement made on Sunday, rap superstar Lil Wayne declared he will be performing at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center (PMAC) on November 15th in honor of the women's basketball team's triumphant season. Joining him on stage will be rapper Latto, one of biggest rising stars in hip hop.

Latto's connection to the LSU Women's Basketball team extends beyond just the music. The star player of the team, Angel Reese, made a notable appearance in the music video for Latto and Cardi B's hit track “Put it on the Floor Again.”

According to WBRZ, the celebratory concert is slated to begin at 8 p.m. Fans eager to join in the celebration and see Lil Wayne and Latto can grab tickets starting Tuesday, October 17, starting at 10 a.m. For those interested in purchasing tickets, they will be available here via the official LSU sports website.

This event promises not only to be an amazing concert with two star rappers but also a major moment for LSU and Louisiana, as artists and athletes come together to celebrate a major milestone for LSU Women's Basketball.
