Lil Wayne to Celebrate LSU Women’s Basketball Championship with Special Concert

The LSU Women's Basketball team's historic achievement of winning their first National Championship continues to be a cause for celebration in the Tiger community. Though more than six months have passed since their victory, the festivities are far from over.

In an exciting announcement made on Sunday, rap superstar Lil Wayne declared he will be performing at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center (PMAC) on November 15th in honor of the women's basketball team's triumphant season. Joining him on stage will be rapper Latto, one of biggest rising stars in hip hop.

Latto's connection to the LSU Women's Basketball team extends beyond just the music. The star player of the team, Angel Reese, made a notable appearance in the music video for Latto and Cardi B's hit track “Put it on the Floor Again.”
