For The First Time Ever In His NFL Career, The Whitehouse, TX Native Will Be Left Off The Pro Bowl Roster.

The Kansas City Chiefs are currently in the drivers seat on the road to the playoffs with the best record in football at 15-1 at the time of this article, with the top seed in the AFC Playoffs secured.

You would think that the team being lead with one of the best players in the game today would for sure have that player make the annual Pro Bowl roster but the fans and voters have other ideas.

The annual Pro Bowl rosters were announced and to the shock of many football fans, Mahomes was left off the roster by voters. Depending on who you ask either this is the biggest snub of all time or its justified.

Despite this, 4 of Mahomes teammates made the roster but how did the Whitehouse native miss the cut? Voters believe that despite his team being on the right track to 3-peat, his play hasn't been as "dazzling" as years past.

Mahomes' stats suggest career lows in several categories.

Mahomes is second in the AFC in completions and third in yards. But he has 26 touchdown passes and 11 interceptions. And his passer rating of 93.2 lands squarely in the middle of the pack.

His completion percentage is at a career high, but his other totals will finish as regressions from recent seasons. Mahomes will not reach 4,000 passing yards for the first time in his career as a starter which is one of the reasons 3 AFC QBs: Josh Allen of the Bills, Lamar Jackson of the Ravens and Joe Burrow of the Bengals made the team.

His Teammate Travis Kelce was won the Pro Bowl Voting.

Despite having career lows in his own stats, the player with the most votes to make the Pro Bowl was Mahomes' teammate, tight end Travis Kelce. But we all know who to thank for that happening.

All is not lost for Mahomes and the all-star game, if one of the 3 AFC QB's can't play, Mahomes will serve as an alternate so there's still a chance you could see the superstar QB in Orlando.
