The 7 Texas Restaurants Guy Fieri visited for Diners Drive-ins & Dives
The Celebrity Chef was seen all over one Texas city last week shooting new episodes.
The hit TV show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, hosted by the ever-energetic Guy Fieri, takes viewers on a flavorful journey through America’s most beloved local eateries. Affectionately known as Triple D, the show celebrates small-town charm and big-time flavor, spotlighting hidden gems that serve up unforgettable meals.
From greasy spoon diners to family-owned joints, each episode dives into the heart and soul of local food scenes. With a focus on scratch-made recipes and passionate chefs, Triple D highlights the creativity and love that goes into every dish.
We already know the show has love for Texas barbecue and other hot spots in the Lone Star State which is why eagle eyed fans spotted the Triple D crew in Triple D Dallas last week.
When Was Guy In Dallas?
Fieri came to Dallas on December 7, officially on a meet-and-greet in support of Santo Spirits, a tequila brand he owns in partnership with rocker Sammy Hagar according to CultureMap Dallas.
But fans learned that Fieri used his time in the days before to shoot a few episodes of the show. Two TV crews were seen recording at restaurants around Dallas December 4 through 7.
How Many Restaurants Did He Visit?
We found out he stopped through 7 restaurants all over the area from Deep Ellum To East Dallas back to Arlington. One of the restaurants where shooting took place was "Smoke N Ash BBQ" who were featured on CBS Sunday Morning.
We do know that all are small and independently-owned, mostly affordable and they all do cuisines that are favorites of Diners Drive-ins, and Dives such as burgers, BBQ, Mexican, and wild over-the-top dishes.
Will They Be Featured On The Show And When Can I Watch?
Well, there's a catch to that question. All restaurants were required to sign nondisclosure agreements and since none of these restaurants were willing or able to confirm that they were selected we really don't know if they will make the show.
They could also have hosted tapings that may not make it on air and the crew could visit more restaurants soon. But we do know Fieri and team were seen at the 7 Texas spots below.
