Marvel’s Tombstone Makes A Live-action Debut In Shreveport

One Of Spider-Man's Biggest Villains Is Coming To Shreveport

Now the lineup is getting a dose of 'bad guy' as actor Marvin Jones III has joined the celebrity guest lineup!

Marvin is stepping into the Marvel universe in a massive way as the iconic, ruthless crime boss Lonnie Lincoln, better known as Tombstone. After providing the memorable voice for the villain in the Oscar-winning animated hit 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse' (and returning for 'Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse'), it has been reported (but not officially confirmed) that Marvin is bringing the character to the live-action MCU for the very first time, in the highly anticipated 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day'.

His unique voice, and dynamic physical presence, make him the absolute perfect fit for the imposing Marvel crime lord, and fans cannot wait to see him take on Peter Parker.

Before battling Spider-Man, Marvin gained massive recognition in the DC universe for his incredible run CW's hit superhero series 'Black Lightning'. He starred as Tobias Whale...a calculating, ruthless crime boss, and the primary lead villain of the series. His commanding, terrifying screen presence as Tobias marked his official transition into full-time acting and created one of the absolute best villains in the modern DC television lineup.

Beyond his massive superhero roles, his extensive acting resume stretches across several major television and film projects. He appeared in the Paramount+ sci-fi series Halo as Louis-036, and has delivered fantastic guest and recurring performances in hit shows like Into the Dark, The Equalizer, and All American: Homecoming. You can also catch him starring on the big screen in the recent action thriller film Shadow Force.

But before he was a Hollywood heavyweight, Marvin was making massive waves in the music industry. Under the name Krondon (KRNDN), he is a solo rapper, and the frontman for the hip-hop group Strong Arm Steady (SAS). He has released projects like 'The Beginning Of'. and 'Everything's Nothing', which beautifully capture his signature West Coast "feel good" sound.

Setting himself apart with his incredible lyricism, the Cali rapper has also written for legendary hip-hop artists like Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, and Xzibit!
