Shreveport Road Closures Announced Before 50 Cent Arrives

"All Roads Lead to Shreveport" and Now Some Road Closures are in Place.

There has been a shift in Shreveport for the better ever since Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson announced he was bringing his G-Unit Film and Television Company to Shreveport.

The promise of someone like "50 Cent" choosing Shreveport is huge for our city. It seems like Jackson is already in town posting footage from Shreveport. We love how much he already loves this city.

Shreveport is eager and excited to welcome Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and the G-Unit Film and Television Company. There is a celebration for "50 Cent", there will be a ceremonial press conference on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 4 pm on the steps of Government Plaza, located at 505 Travis Street, Shreveport, Louisiana.

Due to the Influx of People There Have Been Several Road Closures Announced for Downtown Shreveport.

At 10:00 am 500 Travis Street will be barricaded and have an officer monitoring traffic flow.

At 2:00 pm is when several closures will take place

If you are wondering why there are so many closures downtown today it is to ensure the safety of everyone involved in the festivities downtown. There is going to be a huge increase in traffic before and after the event. There will be detours that will be clearly marked for those who are trying to navigate downtown.
