Dripp Donuts Hiring for New Shreveport Location, Join the Team
One of the most unfortunate things I have ever witnessed for a Shreveport business was the demolition of the Dripp Donuts building in Downtown Shreveport. On Friday, May 3rd, 2024, the decision was made that the Dripp Donuts building at 421 Market Street would be torn down immediately.
What was once a thriving business downtown, serving some of the most incredible donuts, suddenly closed. When they first closed, it was supposed to be temporary. Shortly after that, it turned into a huge mess, and it became a very controversial topic in Shreveport. Dripp Donuts announced they were forced to close its doors because there were some serious concerns over the structure of the building.
The Dripp Donuts Building Was Torn Down on Sunday, May 5th 2024
Not only did the Dripp demolished building leave an empty spot in downtown Shreveport, but Dripp Donut lovers have been left wondering when and if Dripp Donuts would make a grand return. Dripp had just entered the King Cake game, and they were churning out some of the best and most unique King Cakes in town.
Dripp Donuts Announced an Epic 2025 Comeback And Then Went Radio Silent
The big question everyone had was, "Where will Dripp Donuts set up shop?". Several Shreveport residents assumed it would be Downtown, and others assumed they'd make the trek over the Provenance Neighborhood; however, we were all wrong.
Dripp Donuts Has Made the Move to the Highland Neighborhood
The best part is that Dripp is hiring. We love seeing so many businesses pour back into the Highland community. Dripp Donuts took to Facebook to say comeback season is here: "COMEBACK SEASON: New spot, same Dripp, bigger crew. WE’RE HIRING for bakers, baristas, cashiers & fry cooks." The crew at Dripp is hosting a Job Fair on Monday, April 14th, at the new location, which was once Sweetport. The job fair is from 2:00 to 6:00 pm.
