Scout Comics Editorial Director Comes Back to Shreveport
Shreveport's comic con, Geek'd Con, is coming back to Downtown Shreveport this August. The 2024 Geek'd Con will take place August 16th, 17th, and 18th, at the Shreveport Convention Center.

The guest lineup will include horror movie icon Tony Todd, Scrubs star John C. McGinley, the voice of Master Chief Steve Downes, award winning actor Billy Zane, the voice of Mickey Mouse Bret Iwan, and many more incredibly talented celebrities. Including some great comic book creator talent.
Comic book creators like Roland Paris, John Lucas, Tone Rodriguez, and a ton more will all be coming to Geek'd Con this year. Including a big team from Scout Comics coming back to Shreveport.
Geek'd Con and Scout Comics have teamed up for the last couple of years to present a handful of creators on-site every year. This year will be no different, and will include a familiar Scout Comics' name for Geek'd Con fans.
One of the masterminds behind the Scout Comics empire, Andrea Lorenzo Molinari, Ph.D. is co-writer/co-creator of The Shepherd, an OGN series with Scout Comics.
Molinari serves as editorial director for Scout Comics, and works with many creative teams from around the world. He has worked as both submissions editor and project editor for Caliber Comics, as an editor for Amigo Comics (Málaga, Spain), and has edited books published by Action Lab Entertainment, Behemoth, and the Canadian publisher Lev Gleason's New Friday Comics.
