With Geek'd Con 2024 only weeks away from now the hype cannot be understated, everywhere I look online I see people teasing their cosplays or talking about what they want to get signed and by who. I also see plenty of murmur about the Shreveport Sports Card Expo that'll be a part of Geek'd Con this year. Every year I ask myself the question what do I want to get signed, this year while I was pondering who I wanted to get autographs from I realized there are a lot of gaming stars at this year's Geek'd Con. So now my question is, what games should I collect to get signed at this year's show?

Steve Downes - Halo Game Franchise

At the top of the list, the first gaming star for Geek'd Con 2024 is Steve Downes, the iconic Master Chief, John-117. Pick any game from the main-line Halo video game series and Steve Downes is sure to be front and center as the Master Chief. The Halo Wars series of games as well as the Halo: Spartan spin-off games are some of the few to have no feature of Steve Downes as the Master Chief. My advice as to which game to get signed, play them all and pick your favorite. Yes, I know it will take endless hours to play through every game but coming from someone who's religiously played all of them I say that it's worth it. Now if Halo isn't a game you care for Steve has two other games you could get signed, the 1999 role-playing game Septerra Core: Legacy of the Creator which was Downes' first video game voice-acting role, and his only other non-Halo appearance is in 2017's Super Bomberman R where he made a cameo as the Master Chief, so just like the iconic halo rings from the games, it always comes back to Halo.

Josh Martin - Dragon Ball Franchise

Josh Martin, the voice of Dragon Ball's Majin Buu, returns to Geek'd Con this year and we couldn't be more excited to see our friend again. Martin has over 30 credits for voice acting in video games, almost all of these roles end up somewhere between, Majin Buu, Kid Buu, and Andriod 15. Starting with 2003's Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2, Josh provided his voice for Kid Buu and Majin Buu and would do the same in Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 1 & 2, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3, Dragon Ball Z: Sagas, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi, Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai, Super Dragon Ball Z, and pretty much any Dragon Ball game with Buu. If Dragon Ball isn't your thing but you still want to get a signed game from Josh Martin you could pick up Roadkill 1 & 2, Bloodrayne 1& 2, Spikeout: Battle Street, and Stuntman: Ignition.

John Swasey - Borderlands 2, Dragon Ball, and My Hero Academia

John Swasey has over 350 credits for television and nearly 100 movie credits, he's done a lot of work in the world of anime lending his voice to a seemingly endless list of shows but his most notable role as of recently might be as the villain of My Hero Academia, the powerful All-for-One. Swasey has credits for voice acting in a few Dragon Ball games as the voice of Dodoria, who he also voices in the English dubs of the show. Outside of Dodoria he voices the play-by-play announcer in Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi and reprises his role as Farmer (with a gun) in games like Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. In the Borderlands series, Swasey lends his voice to Salvador. John Swasey also reprises his role as All-for-One in My Hero One's Justice 2.

Lindsay Seidel - My Hero Academia and Dragon Ball

Lindsay Seidel has plenty of roles in English anime dubs and a few of those have spilled over into the world of video games. In the English dub of My Hero Academia Seidel gives the voice of Nejire Hado of the Big 3, carrying over that role into My Hero One's Justice 2. If you are already planning on picking up a copy of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot to get signed by Josh Martin and John Swasey you should consider getting Seidel's autograph as well since she's credited with providing additional voices to the game. Additionally, Lindsay Seidel voices Leiara in the Borderlands spinoff Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.

Katelyn Barr - My Hero Academia

Katelyn Barr is another English voice actor for anime who has a huge list of roles with over 150 credits for television shows. In the world of video games, her most notable appearance would be in, like the aforementioned guests, My Hero One's Justice 2 where she voices Ryukyu just as in the English dub of the show. Barr also has a role in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. Barr's most interestingly gaming role would be in the 2015 infamous viral hit, Yandere Simulator.

Cris George - Borderlands and Dragon Ball

Cris George is another name to get autographed on your copy of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, and Borderlands 2. In Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot George voices Yakon and is credited as additional voices. Cris George also has credits for Borderlands 2, Borderlands 3, and of course, as we mentioned before Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, providing voices for Finbreaker, Seduced Sailor, Stink Blossom, Portapotty Bandit, Quitefoot, Darts Guy, Shiv Cration, and additional voices.

Scott Innes - Scooby-Doo franchise

Scott Inness was the voice for Shaggy and Scooby-Doo in the late 90's Scooby-Doo movies like the iconic Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase. During that period Inness also provided his voice for both of those characters in Scooby-Doo games from 1999's Scooby-Doo! Mystery of the Fun Park Phantom up to 2009's Scooby Doo! First Frights.

Billy Zane - Kingdom Hearts 

Billy Zane is probably best known for his roles in Titanic (1997) and The Phantom (1996) but he also has credit as the lead villain in one of the most influential video games of the last 25 years. In 2002 Zane provided the voice for the main antagonist Ansem in the PlayStation 2 hit role-playing game Kingdom Hearts, but this would be the only game in the series that Zane would voice act for, moving on Ansem found a new voice actor. Lesser known for sure Zane also voiced Broderick 'Brodi' Ford in 2001's SSX Tricky.

Bret Iwan - Disney

Since 2009 Bret Iwan has been Disney's go-to choice for the voice of Mickey Mouse, meaning since 2009 every video game featuring the iconic cartoon mouse features the vocal talents of Bret Iwan. Starting with Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep in 2010 all Kingdom Hearts feature Iwan as the voice of Mickey Mouse. Outside of Kingdom Hearts, he is the voice of Mickey in the Epic Mickey series and his only non-mouse role in gaming is additional voices in the 2010 Ruffian Games action game Crackdown 2.

François Petit - Mortal Kombat

The only person on the list to not have any actual video game credits is the martial artist François Petit who played the iconic Sub-Zero in the 1995 Mortal Kombat film. While he has no video game credits to his name he has been one of very few people to play a live-action portrayal of Sub-Zero, so definitely a great autograph to get on pretty much any Mortal Kombat game.
