Shreveport Police Seeking Suspect in Second-Degree Murder

The Shreveport Police Department is urgently requesting the public's help in locating a homicide suspect. Detectives with the Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Unit have obtained a warrant for the arrest of 34-year-old Shontravious Rogers in connection with a homicide that occurred in the 3500 block of Milam Street on June 5.

Rogers is wanted for one count of second-degree murder and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm. He is considered armed and dangerous. The public is advised not to approach Rogers but to immediately contact authorities if he is seen.
