Shreveport Man Arrested for Sexual Assault of a Juvenile

At 10:30 a.m. Friday (4/12/24), officers from the Shreveport Police Department responded to a call concerning the sexual assault of a minor. Following a thorough investigation by the diligent detectives of the Shreveport Police Sex Crimes Unit, 28-year-old Devonte Joseph was apprehended.

Joseph faces serious charges, including one count of felony sexual assault, knowledge of a juvenile, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Additionally, he was arrested for outstanding traffic warrants.
