Shreveport 11-Year-Old Missing and Believed to be Runaway

The Shreveport Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating an 11-year-old runaway, La’Traymon Hayes.

La’Traymon was last seen on June 3rd, 2024, in the 7400 block of Glenleaf Road in Shreveport, Louisiana. He is described as being 5’1” tall, weighing approximately 100 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

The Shreveport Police Department urges anyone with information on La’Traymon's whereabouts to contact them immediately at 318-673-7300. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated as we work to ensure La’Traymon's safe return.

Louisiana law regarding runaways is outlined in the Louisiana Children's Code, Title VII, Art. 728, and Chapter 13 of the Runaway and Homeless Youth Law. The law defines a runaway as a child under 18 who is absent from their caretaker's home without their consent. The law also defines a caretaker as a person who provides a residence for the child or is legally obligated to provide care for them, such as a parent, guardian, or legal custodian.
