We now know the date for the Humor and Harmony Festival which is headed back to Shreveport in the spring. Thousands of folks in Shreveport and northwest Louisiana were excited to learn this week that Curtis 50 Cent Jackson is bringing his Humor and Harmony Festival back to town.

On Wednesday morning, Mayor Tom Arceneaux announced on KEEL that Jackson is looking at a date in March for the festival. Arceneaux also told us it would be even bigger this time around. He said the event will include the use of Independence Stadium for some of the events.

That larger venue will likely be used to stage some of the concert events planned during the festival.

How Long with the Humor and Harmony Festival Last?

The first Humor and Harmony Festival was a 4-day event. It kicked off on a Thursday night and ran through Sunday. We don't yet know if this years' event will also start on Thursday night.

What Are the Dates for Humor and Harmony Festival in Shreveport?

KEEL News has confirmed through several sources inside the city that the event will happen during the weekend of March 12-15, 2026. This gives the city much more time for planning and putting together a team to get prepared for this huge event. Last year, city leaders had only a few weeks to pull off the event.

Where Will the Festival Be Held?

Several venues are expected to be used including the Stage Works building (the old Expo Hall), the Convention Center, Independence Stadium, Municipal Auditorium and other sites to be determined. Jackson and his crew are also expected to have another domed structure set up downtown, but we don't know yet if it will be permanent or a temporary one like the one that was used for last years' event.
