Shreveport Man Arrested for Flight From Officers
On August 19th, 2023, around 1:00 a.m. officers with the Shreveport Police officers were called to a disorderly person at the 400 block of Pete Harris Drive. Officers were advised that a male in a white SUV was causing a disturbance at this location.
Arriving officers located the subject and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The vehicle sped away driving erratically and committed multiple traffic violations.
The vehicle refused to stop, leading officers on a pursuit. The pursuit ended in the 2000 block of Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, and the driver Robert Miller (6-23-95) was taken into custody.
Miller was charged with Aggravated Flight from an Officer, aggravated obstruction of a highway, one count of DWI, and numerous traffic offenses.
