About Chris Cagle
Cagle was born in DeRidder, Louisiana, before being raised in Houston, Texas. He moved to Nashville in 1994 to chase his dream of making it in country music. Chris' big break came in 2000 when he signed with Virgin Records. His first album, Play It Loud, went gold and included several hit songs. His next album, Chris Cagle, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and also earned gold status.
Over the years, Cagle continued to release songs that found an audience with country fans. Other hits include “Miss Me Baby,” “What Kinda Gone,” “Got My Country On,” “Let There Be Cowgirls,” and “Country By The Grace of God.” Cagle was also nominated for the Academy of Country Music’s New Male Vocalist award and named CMT’s Breakthrough Artist of the Year in 2002.
