Iron Man’s Original Suit, Valued at $320,000, Has Gone Missing in a Burglary Case
(Minor spoiler alert for Avengers: Infinity War.)
Half of the universe wasn’t the only thing that went missing after Thanos snapped his fingers at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. Now the original Iron Man suit has gone missing from its Los Angeles prop house, and not even Tony Stark can save the day. The case is being investigated as a possible burglary.
The iconic red and gold suit, valued at a whopping $320,000, that first debuted in 2008’s Iron Man was last seen in its storage facility in Pacoima, California in February. But as CBS News reports, the supersuit has been missing since April, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
When the owners of the storage facility first noticed Tony Stark’s metallic legs, arms, and chest were missing, they called the authorities. The case is currently being investigated as a possible burglary, according to SyFy Wire, and the suit is reportedly the only thing that went missing from the prop house location.
It’s times like these where real-life Avengers would be especially useful. We’re sure Tony has some backup suits hanging around somewhere, right? If not, Spidey, Cap or Black Panther could lend a hand. Can Shuri just whip up a new suit in her lab?
