After losing by 42 to Mississippi State last week, Louisiana Tech returns home to host a Rice team that has won just one game. Which seems like a good recipe.

Rice's lone win of the season was in their first week, when they beat Prairie View 31-28. Since then, Rice has been on a 9-game losing streak. Falling to teams like Hawaii (at least they got to fly to Hawaii), UTSA (UTSA has only won 2 other games), and UTEP (Rice is UTEP's only win this year).

It probably won't be pretty for Rice in Ruston this weekend. (Kick-off is at 6 PM by the way)

Then it gets even worse for Rice the next week. Because the Owls will get a double order of Louisiana when they visit Baton Rouge to take on the LSU Tigers. Which will also be LSU's last home game this season, and senior night.

But the good news for Rice, is that they get to end the season at home after the LSU game, against Old Dominion, a team with only 2 wins. But I guess there could be more bad news for Rice, since one of those Old Dominion wins came against (then ranked #13) Virginia Tech.
