I spotted this bear in Bossier City Wednesday afternoon and couldn't help but wonder where he's being taken.

As you can see, it's a beautiful bronze bear standing about 6' tall. He was strapped into the back of this Dodge pickup and headed south on the Arthur Ray Teague Parkway. I got onto the Shreveport Barksdale Bridge, but the bear kept going south. So I assume his final destination is somewhere in either South Bossier or South Shreveport.

I sure do hope this bear is destined to find a home at one of our local businesses because he sure is beautiful and would make a great conversation piece. I'm envisioning him outside a restaurant or in front of a wildlife refuge or something like that. Maybe he was headed to the Kisatchie National Forest. That would be a pretty good life for a bear statue.

Please leave me a comment if you know where I can find this bear again. I kind of have a crush on him.
