Hurricane Chris Indicted on Murder Charges

A Caddo Parish Grand Jury has indicted 31-year-old Christopher Jerron Dooley aka "Hurricane Chris" on murder charges. The Shreveport rapper is accused of killing 32-year-old Danzeria Ferris Jr. outside a gas station on Hearne Avenue at Hollywood on the night of June 19th. Dooley has been indicted on a second degree murder charge. He is also charged with illegal possession of a stolen 2016 Mercedes sedan.

The Grand Jury also returned indictments in several other cases.

27-year-old DeMichael Antonio Turel is charged wtih second-degree murder in connection with the June 10th killing of Jermaine Robinson. The 31-year-old Robinson of Shreveport, was shot in the chest in the 5500 block of Bienville Avenue.

A third indictment charges 21-year-old Don Lee Johnson of Wickes, Arkansas, with second-degree murder in connection with the May 6th murder of 3-month old Alex Shields. The baby boy was found dead in his playpen. The investigation revealed the child had been slammed into a couch.

Another indictment returned by the Grand Jury charges 25-year-old Antonio LaCedric Johnson with second-degree murder in connection with the May 6th slaying of 28-year-old Travarrius Adams. Adams was found shot several times in the driver's seat of a vehicle on Centenary Boulevard.

The panel also indicted 22-year-old Treyvious DeJuan Dotie on a second-degree murder charge in connection with the July 4th slaying of 19-year-old Bryan Theus who was gunned down outside of Mall St. Vincent.

Hurricane Chris and Turel are out on bond, while Dotie and the Johnsons remain in custody at Caddo Correctional Center.
