Happy Birthday to the living legend, Weird Al Yankovic! The musician, producer, actor, writer, and director turns 60 today.

Since the 1980s, discovering Weird Al's parody music has been a sort of "rite of passage" for America's youth. Songs like "Eat It" (a Michael Jackson parody) to "Amish Paradise" (a Coolio parody) have provided Weird Al with Platinum sales, and even Grammy Awards. In fact, Weird Al has won 5 Grammy Awards, with his first coming in 1985, and his latest win came this year.

Not only is Weird Al a musical hero, he has written and starred in movies at TV shows. His film UHF remains a cult classic. He currently voices the lead character in the Disney cartoon Milo Murphy's Law.

Next month, Weird Al will be appearing live at Big Easy Con in New Orleans. He will be signing autographs and taking pictures with fans all weekend. Details can be found here.
