Half of Brooks and Dunn Cancels Gig Due to Vocal Issues

Country singer Kix Brooks, who was part of the superstar duo Brooks and Dunn, has had to cancel a concert in Florida because of vocal problems. Brooks was due to headline a free radio station show at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena in Florida Friday night.

But he had to pull out of the concert after experiencing issues with his voice.
After hearing the news while on vacation with his family, former Brooks and Dunn partner Ronnie Dunn volunteered to step in and perform for the fans.

Brooks has also axed a show in Las Vegas later this week to allow himself time to recuperate and re-gain his voice.
