Geek'd Con 2017 is setting up to be the biggest yet. It's the third year of the Comic-Con-style event that calls downtown Shreveport home. The event will be at the Shreveport Convention Center August 18th-20th this year.

The guest list is probably the strongest yet for the event, which in the past has featured appearances by Evlira (Cassandra Peterson), Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew), George Perez (Creator of the Teen Titans), and more. This year has, arguably, 5 different headline guests. Maybe even more if you'd like to argue the impact of a guy like Sam J. Jones.
