Achievements:  Known as "Fast Freddie" to racing fans, Freddie Spencer was a racing prodigy who began racing at the age of four and is one of the greatest road racers America has ever produced.  Member of the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame and the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America.  Inducted into the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame.  Has won three World Championships and was the only rider to win the 250cc and 500cc Grand Prix World Championships in the same season when he did it in 1985.  AMA Pro Athlete of the Year in 1983 and 1985.  Youngest ever to win an AMA Superbike race at age of 18.  Youngest ever to win 500cc Grand Prix World Championship at age 21.  Named by the Federation of International Motorcycling a Grand Prix "Legend" in 2001.  First motorsports star to be inducted into the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame.
